I received my first massage from Henk in 2005. All dressed in off-whites with serious eyes and a smile. He was very welcoming and I was immediately impressed by the surroundings because they reflected him: very clean in all warm off-white colour tones. He asked me some preliminary questions about my expectations, any medical issues that he should be aware of, or any specific muscular areas he needed to address.

Henk has a beautiful touch. Why beautiful? He uses long even strokes, combined with a firm pressure. He understands how to give a therapeutic massage without making it medical or just a 'rub-down'. His knowledge of different massage techniques means he can adapt to the needs of his client. And for me most importantly, he listens to how I breathe, and adapts his technique to what he hears and how I respond. And surprisingly he has (when you meet him you will also notice that he is BIG guy!) an incredibly, sensitive, intuitive touch. Granted the first massage is always a 'getting to know each other' massage, but as the first one progressed I felt myself relax, let go, and feel, blissful. At the end of the day, that is perhaps the best compliment I could give him.

I have had the joy of being in Henk's more than capable and talented care for the past 4 years. He is my exclusive masseur here in Amsterdam. I trust him totally when I'm under his hands to take care of me, body, mind, and spirit. It is without any doubt, an extreme pleasure to recommend him to you.
